Creative Master Northcord Limited is pleased to announce the release of Alexander Dennis Enviro200Dart UK8013, utilising the 10.7m long wheelbase model with gasket windows to represent the 10.8m version of this distinctive modern single-decker in the United Kingdom, that carries Metroline’s standard colour. UK8013 represents fleet number DEL856 (LK08 DWL). Metroline is part of the Singapore-based ComfortDelgro group and operates around 1200 buses in North, North West and Central London employing nearly 4000 staff. DEL 856 is one of eleven 10.9m Alexander Dennis Enviro200Darts that entered service in June 2008 to upgrade Metroline’s two commercial routes in Hertfordshire.The vehicles were built to a mainly provincial specification including the fitment of LED Blind displays that are unique to these vehicles in the company. The whole batch is based at Potters Bar Garage and the buses operate exclusively on Route 84 (New Barnet – St Albans) and 242 (Potters Bar – Waltham Cross).
The Alexander Dennis Enviro200Dart UK8013 is a one-piece casting whose clean lines accentuate the square-mounted, gasket windows and the livery application on which all logos and lettering are clearly legible. Creative Master Northcord is creating new design standards in the layout of the interior in the replica. These features inside the compartment represent the really outstanding layout of the Enviro200Dart, such as the additional seats on the wheel arch on the offside, and extensive portrayal of handrails in the compartment. UK8013 is the first model project carrying the new Standard packaging box. The model will not carry any Limited Edition certificate. The brand new Enviro200Dart bus models will be limited to 1000 pieces worldwide.
