Following the great success of the launch model of the brand new Mercedes-Benz Citaro EURO5 casting, Creative Master Northcord Limited is pleased to announce the release of UK5022, carrying allover blue colour with ‘Park for Truro’ branding, in the Western Greyhound fleet. This model features Western Greyhound 204 that is registered WK08 ESY. Western Greyhound is an independent bus operator based in Newquay, Cornwall. It has recently awarded the contract to operate the new high quality Truro Park and Ride PR1 service and this vehicle was one of a batch of five (201 to 205) purchased specifically to operate this contract. It entered into service on the opening day of the service, 4 August 2008 and is painted in the blue livery exclusively designed for the “Park for Truro” service. UK5022 features the smooth, curved windscreen with the destination display set behind the windscreen glass. The Mercedes-Benz Citaro EURO5 UK5022 is a one-piece casting whose clean lines accentuate the square-mounted, double-glazed windows and the livery application on which all logos and lettering are clearly legible. Another main feature on the UK5022 model is its extensive portrayal of handrails. The headlight / indicator units at the front and indicator / tail light units at the rear are made of individual, translucent components to look more realistic. The brand new single door Mercedes-Benz Citaro EEV bus models will be limited to 1000 pieces worldwide.
