Over the years following the Second World War the business grew and they transported cargoes ranging from paper and detergents to car parts and steel all over the UK. Nuttall’s were also early into European operations, setting up Eurolink in 1967 to ship loads to the continent Rapid expansion took place in the late sixties with numerous acquisitions of such well-known fleets as Joseph Roscoe. In 1973 the Nuttall Group itself was absorbed into Renwick Freight and then Ridham Freight Services.
